Seriously though, most tranny things of interest (xfer case, shift motor, front driveshaft, clutch lines, clutch inspection port, etc.) are on the LEFT side of Ye Olde M5R1, and that's also the side I tend to slide under, SO... is this "curved-rectangle" supposed to have a long-ago disintegrated rubber plug in it, er wut?
Did no small amount of combing the manuals, don't see it called out there either... hmmm...

Edit Title: Corn-fused driver and passenger side... "port" is on RIGHT side... dropped on mah HAY-ed!
