need to vent my frustration!

really? I guess its possible but usually 5 speed means standard, auto means auto. I might have to look into it though, thanks for the heads up

If it ends up being a 5-speed auto (pic too blurry to tell) I would then start asking a lot of questions about the engine replacement. The ad is not clear on if he just recently replaced the motor with one with 71k miles on it or, at 34k miles, the engine had to replaced (with a new one). If it is the latter, then that opens up a few more questions on why the engine was replaced at 34k miles. May want to have a mechanice look at it too.

You may want to call them. They may mean 5-speed automatic. My 99 4.0L is a 5 speed auto

Vito
Ad says clutch was replaced so that kind of narrows it down. I have both a two door and four door (dead right now) and really love having the four door. Ever try Auto Trader to narrow down your search? I've had good with them.

ive tried autotrader but i find alot more on craigslist. the ones on autotrader tend to be out of my pricerange

the only thing thats really stopping me from jumping on the 2001 is the timing chain issues with that year. If it hasnt happened by 105,000 miles, should it be pretty safe to assume its not going to happen? ( actually i dont know if the engine is a 3.0 or 4.0, it just says v6. Im hoping 4.0)

Anti freeze freezes by not being mixed properly, water freezes at 32 degrees f straight.... antifreeze freezes at like 20 degrees f or something...

Different mixtures will get you different results in before freezing points. 50/50 generally gets you at a -40 freezing point and a 40/60 with more aintifreeze i think? gets you to about -60 below zero.

It is very common for idiots to not check/change the coolent and will potentially crack the block the freeze plugs or expansion plugs really don't help because that is the last area its going to freeze.

Actually come to think of it I should change out my antifreeze pretty quickly... it can start eating away at stuff once it start breaking down like the aluminum block on my moms car... :icon_rofl:

and what timing chain issues on the 2001 vehicles? the only problems i have ever heard about the timing is the 2.3L/2.5L or the thing about the 2.8L having a nylon timing gear.
