need to replace my spare wheel carrier winch

i have unbolted my spare wheel carrier winch and i cant remove from its
general position. its trapped .after twisting and wiggling it for an hour..
is there a way to get the winch out ?
help

Perhaps lift the bed? I havent dealt with one of these but if it cant come out the bottom.....

Pulling the bed is easy if you have a friend with you. Theres 6 bolts in the floor, T55 torx bit required, 3 screws at the filler neck and one plug in the back for the lights. The bed weighs 200-250lbs i would guess so its easily manageable with 2 people.

could always red neck it and put a chain from the carrier to a tree and take off. dont know why that was the first thing to come into my mind. may cause damage if your trying to keep it together and my damage other peices

If you don't have a friend to help, you may be able to get away with disconnecting the bed, lifting it up (I'd slide it towards the back and then lift up from the tailgate end) and prop it up with something (something that woln't easily kick out on you and squash you like a bug), then pull it. Could even take some 4x4 or 6x6, lift up the bed, and slide it across the top of the frame rails front and back of the rear wheels an then just reach in.
