Need some help identifying some loose lines on my truck (1987 ranger)

Hi guys,

I’m new to working on cars (this is my first project car)

Looking to identify these three loose lines towards the rear of my truck. I bought the truck like this. Seems like it might be part of the brake system? Odd thing is I’ve driven this thing like this around the block and the brakes work just fine. Two of the lines seem to have electrical connectors, the third skinny one I’m not too sure. There’s a separate wire from the three for the tail-lights I presume which I’ve disconnected.

Trying to get this thing road ready by the end of the month. Any insight as to what these lines may be would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance

just a guess, but does your truck have a switch under the dashboard for front and rear fuel tanks? You might have a truck that was originally equipped with dual tanks but has had the one in the back removed. If that's the case, the lines would be the fuel supply and return and the vent line for a rear tank that isn't there any more.

Oh I see that makes sense. I do have that switch for front and rear tanks. And I only have one it seems.
