If anyone has access to Alldata or a similar service, I'm looking for instructions to remove and replace the rotors and pads. I plan to do this over the weekend. Any tips or advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance :)

It's no different from replacing pads and/or rotors on a typical FWD car.

the calibers unbolt from the caliper pins with two 13mm headed bolts on the backside.

to replace the rotor you also have to unbolt the caliper bracket from the steering knuckle. these two bolts have 15mm heads

After that the rotors are right there, I forget if they have a small retaining screw or not.
but even if they don't a sharp whack with a hammer will pop them loose from the hub.

You'll also need a big C-clamp and one of the old pads to compress the caliper

It ain't rocket surgery:)

On the 95-up Explorers and '98-up rangers it's mechanically no different from replacing brakes on any FWD car.
