Sorry, I missed this post.
The wipers seem to be functioning normally now, but it took a while. I suspect that disassemble helped speed the process, but it just took time to dry out.
Fixing this flood victim was really cathartic for me. I was able to "re-claim" something that nature took from me. That said, I have a line on a '98 Ranger, and there's a bunch of electrical gremelins left on this one so...

Hauled a bunch of stuff away with it
