need help please


if it is a brass threads...on the CTS. try it without anything on the threads. don't think I used anything on mine & it doesn't leak...but my CTS did have brass threads. The brass is softer and will seal more readily than steel & you're going into a aluminum housing.
 
Ok mine has brass threads so iam going to take back out and clean it up i am going to change the tstateagain to with a better one hopefully today
 
ok update i change the t state and took out the coolant sens cleaned it up and put it back in started the truck let it warm up good and rechecked the codes now i have the code 41 again after i just replaced the o2 sens last week so it looks like i am going to find a differant mech who can put this damm thing on somekind of computer and drive it or test everything so i can get to the bottom of this crap i am just tired of shelling out money just to keep having the same damm problems its probley going to cost me a good couple of hundred bucks now .
 
ok guys here is an update i took my truck to new mech told him what it was doing and what the other gut said so he put it on his machine and road tested it and he tells me it runs fine he could not get any codes whatsoever he did say he found a slight vacum leak in the power brake booster which might be giving a inter code 41 so i am going to replace the booster this weekend and see what happens .
 
ok update on this pos i had the power brake booster replaced on friday but befor i took it to get done i reran the codes and it passed both eo er just like the mech told me but i still have a bad idle i mean when i am sitting at a light the motor will shake bad like its going to stall so neither me or the mech is able to figure out yet he thought it would be the booster since it had a little leak but he is wrong but to look on the bright side i fianally get rid of the codes .but know have to fig out why the rough idle .
