I have a 2000 Ranger XLT extended cab with the back doors and I need help finding an inner and outer cab corner for the drivers side. I talked to my local Ford body shop and they wanted $1000 to fix the cab corner and paint it and a door so it all matches, and that was IF I had the box off for them already. I've never really done any body work but I have friends that have and I think if i can find the cab corners I need we can do it for a whole bunch less.

tried a wrecking yard? find a wreck and see how much to get the panels you need. If your friends know how to weld it in then that should do you fine. Same process to install these as new pieces.

Yeah that is what i was thinking i was going to have to do cause LMC doesn't have them....I have looked all over the internet and can't find them.

have you looked at jcwhitney

no it doesn't...not for an extended cab with the back doors. I can find the standard cab corners and the extended cab WITHOUT the back door corners all day long but NOT the ones for the trucks with the back doors.

didn't know it had back doors:icon_surprised:

Yeah mine has the suicide doors on it like the bigger trucks to to get into the back part of the cab.

I think on my particular ranger they would be considered or of a rocker panel

As far as I can tell that is a whole piece all the way up to the roof. You cant just get the corner. A $1000 is a bit high for fixing it, but any body shop will charge at least that. they have so much insurance work it's not worth doing cash work anymore. Try finding a guy that does it on the side.

Ok guy for anyone else looking for "cab corners" for a super cab ranger. I went back to my local Ford dealership and had them look them up and print me off the part number for them. Ford calls them a Side Panel Assembly or Cab Corner Panel. The Part Number for the one I need is F87Z13280A59AA. Hope this helps anyone else that has a truck like mine that is looking for cab corners for it but having a hard time finding them.

What they printed me off was a quote to do it for me and it actually comes to $1374.69 with tax and labor.
