I was having the notorious "everything blows out the defroster" problem, so I pulled a few vacuum lines and bypassed a thing or two to find the problem. I got the vents working the way they should but now I'm not getting anything but hot air. In order for me to further diagnos my problem I need to know what belongs where and I am having trouble finding the vacuum diagram I need. This is the one from the tech library, I need to know what it looks like after it reaches the point labeled "to climate control". Any help would be greatly appreciated since it is started to get hot around here.

i've never seen a vacuum operated temperature control. it should be electric or cable

Sasquatch, that looks very similar to what I'm dealing with, I'll print this out and take it under the hood with me tomorrow and see what I can figure out. I thought I had just taken out the lines for the PVH's but it seems there is a little more to it. If anyone else has any other diagrams please post them, the more pictures I look at the better.

That's straight out of the Ford EVTM (electrical/vacuum trouble shooting manual)

Hogg they are indeed vac operated!

Ok, I just printed that diagram out and went outside and messed around for about an hour trying to figure out why I'm only getting heat. According to the diagram everything seems to be in order minus the vacuum hubs (which I don't have anymore anyway). The system is fully charged (I put a gauge on it). Is there anything else I should be checking?

Is the blend door moving when you switch from heat to cool??

I'm about to leave for work but I took a quick look in there and the blend door actuator is definately working, after work I'll see if the door is moving though. Thanks for all the help so far.

Well, turns out it's the blend door, switched it over manually and it was ice cold. I'll give it the old blend door fix and be done with it. Thanks for your help sasquatch.
