Well I got a 89 ford ranger and it's got the 2.3 dis eight plug motor and it's running like complete shit like the fuel pump was week so I changed that and the strainer and the fuel filter an now it's getting to much fuel and I If leave leave the key in the on position for like two or three minutes the relays for the fuel pump and ignition an I don't know what the other one is for start clicking on and off really fast and here's the part I don't understand when they start doing that the coil starts sending spark to the wires for the plug I'm so confused can some one please help me

Unfortunately is reads like the computer is F*ing up.

Remove negative battery terminal for 5 minutes then reconnect, that will reboot computer.

The Computer(EEC, aka PCM) runs most things by grounding them.
Fuel injectors have 12v power when key is on, PCM grounds each to open it.
Coil(both) has 12v power when key is on, PCM grounds each to power and fire it.
Fuel pump relay has 12v power(via the EEC relay) when key is on, PCM grounds it to turn on Fuel Pump.

Have you test battery voltage?
Above 12.4v is what you want.

EEC relay is next to the Fuel pump relay, if it is acting up then same symptoms.
EEC relay supplies 12v power to most engine electrical components.

Also check grounds near Computer module, passenger foot well, if there is a loose ground same symptoms, also chech connectors on the module, unplug them and have a look at the insides then plug back in, could just be a loose connector.

Wiggle the key switch, maybe there is a bad connection inside the ignition switch.

If I wiggle the key in my truck while its running the voltage will change. So its possible

Ditto...disconnect the battery and check/clean all the grounds, then reconnect the battery. Hopefully you're brain box is not FUBAR.

...the relays for the fuel pump and ignition an I don't know what the other one is for start clicking on and off really fast...

I would be sure the battery is a solid player in the game and that all grounds are good. Along with battery the 12v wires/connections are good.

Well I pulled the battery terminal off and reset the computer but still no change what so ever this is really bothering me the truck set for almost a year with no battery in it

Could be some rodent chewed wires around, if it was sitting outside :)
