So I have a 2002 Ranger XLT 3.0L V6. 2WD and I want to lift it 9 inches. What would be better a 6 inch suspension with a 3 inch body lift or all suspension? And what about shocks? I don't know anything about suspension.... This truck is an everyday truck and I mostly want the lift for looks but I do need it for some dessert when I go dirt biking but nothing to hardcore off roading. This is my first truck so any ideas and suggestions would be great. Thanks :icon_hornsup:

Just my opinion, If you are deadset on 9" for a daily driver 2wd, I would go 6 and 3 for the simple fact that the higher you go on suspension, the more problems you will encounter with the driveshaft angle.

I would personally go with a 4" suspension and a 3" body for a daily driver, I am not sure how high you can actually go on a 02 2wd without having to mod the driveshaft though......as for shocks, I would order them with the kit to match, I'm sure somebody that knows more will post up soon.

Welcome to TRS! Good luck!!

He said 02', a 92' would actually be easier to get that amount of lift out of...

IIRC you can get a 3" Spindle, 2.5" coil (essentially a fabtech kit, but you can piece it together cheaper and better) and run a 3" B/L and clear 35's, which is what Bloo's done over at RPS.
