Need Advice What To Replace?

5100 series or the B6 Heavy Duty? or does it even matter?

Thanks Junky for all your help, at least i know its done right from the get go

5100s have always seemed like the best choice for a mostly-stock setup, though I'm not familiar with the B6 heavy duty series.

i just want to make sure i have this right.
my old dana28 had a washer and a bearing, and the clip
the dana 35 seems to have just the toothed washer and the clip is this right?

from the photos i seen in the tech lib it seems to be right

Correct, the bearing is not used on the D35.

Depending on year, the D35 has either that single solid splined washer, or a three-piece washer setup with a Delrin (plastic) center.

Thanks, after working on a dana 28 and this is my first dana 35 just seemed odd to not have a bearing there.

Does anyone know what part number on the bilstein for a 2 inch lift, I cant seem to find one, i talked to a few shops and tried to email the TRS Store so far no go. I get stock or 4 inch lift.

If I cant get one to fit what would be the next best shock?

I ran into another snag. In the tech lib I thought I read 93 rotors were used on a 97.
Well the 93 rotors that came with the axle and the set I got from the junk yard(thy said it work on a 97) Don't seem to work.
Here is what I got
I got a 93 dana35 and what was said 97 steering knuckles (for the twin-piston calipers),
Calipers, and brackets. I am reusing the 93 hubs since thy looked the same.
The problem seems the rotors are to close to the steering knuckles so I can't get the caliper bracket on?
Did I miss something why thing will not fit?

You mean rotors? (brake disc?)
'90-'94 and '95-'97 rotors are different, yes. If you're putting the '97 parts on (I presume) for the twin-piston calipers, you need the '95-'97 rotors.
