I have an 88 Ranger with the 2.9L engine. I have this mysterious vacuum line that does not have a home. Any advice on what I am missing where this connects? See photos.

Thats supposed to be plugged into the port on the back of your fuel pressure regulator.

I thought I recognized that truck from Youtube. Welcome aboard.

Rusty is right about that vacuum line.. That should fix your idle/surge issues you described on Youtube.

It wont however solve the main issue you're having...

Dont listen to dirtman. Hes getting at the fact you have a 2.9 im 99.9% sure.

He drives a fiesta...so therefore he has an inferiority complex and thus, shouldnt be taken seriously.:geek:
