Mystery tool thread.

Ya all realize we could be posting on this thread for months, just looking up old tools...there's thousands of em out there.

Nah, the thread should get tragically off track soon...

We can fix that. Change the title to read -

“This thread is NOT about old obscure tools”

This one might be too easy. I owned one, loved it, lost it and had a really hard time finding one because I had no idea of the proper name.

Is that a bedazzler? Or a crappy wire tip stripping tool?

And, this one...

Looks like some kind of crimping tool. For something large gauge by the looks of it, battery cables maybe.

Nope, no, nada...
It's a tire chain connector/tensioner tool. Used to bring together the hook/loop on large tire chains.
Used on big rigs...the compound leverage makes it a bit easier.

This is much closer. It's called a "mini-duo wire tool". It is for stripping and cutting in tight spaces. The one I pictured is nowhere near the quality of the one I lost, particularly the stripping tip.

Might be tough, might not be. Not sure.

It would have been used for c-rats. MRE's never needed a can opener.
Commonly called a P-38 as identified earlier. I believe there is also a P-51 that is larger
