My trip to The Badlands, Attica IN 5/15/10...LONG READ, 56K, GTFO

Looks like a great time! :headbang: I was curious how you mounted your hi-lift jack in your bed? have any better pics of it in the bed?

kyle is that a 28 spline 8.8? and is front locked?

This is how the offroading picture movie story is supposed to go, awesome job with teh post, just as much with the wheeling. I love reading watching this stuff. Id love more to do it, but Im trying to beat the 8 dolalr an hour bug right now.

Bray, have you got a doubler or were you crawling so easy because its an automatic?

right now i can really wheel my rig....needs tlc on the frame and some leafs that are softer....along with a million other things...rrorc chubfest is late in the summer....should be a few rbv's around then.

Right now I am planing on being there for chubfest.

I will have to take a better picture for you, but it is really basic. I drilled 2 holes thru my inner box side, ran 2 5" long bolts thru it, cut a piece of black pipe down to 2.5" x2 and bolted those done as spacers, then just wing nut it on.

Yup, stock ranger rear and the front isn't locked. I have a Dana 44 that I am going to build up real soon so I decided not to lock the 35.

Thanks, I love looking at pictures myself so I figured I would post up a bunch!

How, oh, how have you NOT blown the stock tranny yet!!? :icon_confused: I thought that they couldn't put up with that much abuse.

Sweet pics and nice resourcefulness. :icon_thumby: I know that after you take out and put back the tranny/front end/motor what have you, it gets much easier!

You should definitly V8 that thing.

You have the knowledge, you have the technology, but do you have the nerve and guts to realize that once you go V8, you can't go back............... :D:D

I think these trannys are pretty tough behind a 4.0

I have thought about a V8 swap, but it is too soon, I just got another DD so the truck will take on a new life/look eventually, just not sure what yet or how soon!

Got my drive shaft back today and put it on, just like new! D & R Drivelines do great work and are pretty quick!

Very nice man I can't believe the punishment your rig goes threw Awesome I'll have to go next time if I can

Punishment? That isn't punishment, just finding the weak links! You should see how others run theirs, I am easy on mine. I figure I built it to wheel, I might as well wheel it like I want to and try not to hurt it too bad! But honestly, this is the first time I have ever broke anything and I just happened to do it 3 different times in 3 different days...LOL. The only break that was from abuse was the axle, otherwise the Booger did great.
