I have a 3.0 in the truck, but yeah, it's not a high output V8, it is just the throttle body 305. It's still fun to drive, though.

i wouldnt consider this a stang stomper haha, maybe a civic stomper, but i also wouldnt consider a jetta vr6 a fast car haha. 4.0sohc 5spd ranger would smoke both you haha

My dad had a brown '84. He loved it, but wanted a v-8 put in it. He had to get rid of it because my mom couldn't fit in it anymore when she was pregnant with me.

not even the corrado vr6 is 5 sec 0-60, and it weighs 400# less than your mk3.. the mk3 glx 0-60 is officially 6.7sec, your 2 minor mods have not decreased that to anywhere near 5 seconds, sorry dude.

2.8L(vr6) + 3.2L = 6.0L.

4.0sohc 5spd ranger would smoke both you haha

vr6's aren't THAT slow.. and i doubt the 4.0 is sub 7 sec. maybe possibly is the most standard form.. the only stat i found was 8.1 sec for a 5spd auto otherwise base model



straight line racing is not exciting in any way.





btw i love big(ger) tires on cars, and your firebird has a nice stance!

I'd say the poster got a little carried away with sarcasm. The only 'stang that would stomp would have to be a stock 4 cyl in bad need of a tune up. It a good thing he's got a 3.0 Ranger, he has something he can actually get some speed out of (wink).
Nice LOOKING car though.
