umm idk im doing finger countin when i go 0-60, and my bad im not that good at math, but my point was the 305 just isnt impressive

are u serious im putting out around 180hp and it took 9-10 seconds to get 0-60 in the sports trac that we used to own, and in this car its like 5 secs max, and all i got done is a resonator and a cold air intake

my ranger can hit 60mph in 6.7secs.

Are you kidding fool? if a brand new r32 can do 0-60 in 6.4secs, how do you think your jetta glx can beat that. bro most of my friends drive vdubs, highly modded v-dubs, only one of them does 0-60mph in the 5's, its turbo'd with head and cam work. maybe if you took out your back seat then you could hit what your calming!haha

i wouldnt consider this a stang stomper haha, maybe a civic stomper, but i also wouldnt consider a jetta vr6 a fast car haha. 4.0sohc 5spd ranger would smoke both you haha

My 6000 pound Tundra will take all of those vehicles in a straightline....

and honestly they brag about the r32, when 16 years ago: 92 vw corrado vr6's = 6.5sec 0-60.. granted fwd vs awd.. but COME ON make the cars faster! not heavier! even a stock g60 w/ 158bhp was 7.5sec 0-60 in 1990... i will always be a motor swap fan, i will always be loyal to the mk2 chassis.. i like the newer motors, but hate that the cars weigh 3k+. my friends all drive modded vw/audi/bmw's (as do/did i), but im the big hick with the lifted truck right now. /vw rant

hey buddy im not braggin bout a r32, i really think all vdubs are junk i got alot of friends with vdubs so they get old,

tundras are nice, but when i dump the clutch at 4k and hook up, there aint no pickup gonna stand next to me most of all with see the taillights, a 01 lightning only pulled on me after 65mph, but i had him by a truck until 30mph then he evend up

Is you firebird stick? 5.0 arent really impressive, but you can make those firebird look good, then get a 454

my ranger is my mud truck/ winter truck and dog hauler. my street machine is still a work in progress 2005 mustang GT 5 spd so far slp loudmouth 2's ( straight pipes) K&N cold air induction kit and a dual scoop RAM AIR HOOD! plus other cosmetics it is nasty will get pics up soon.

I was being kind of obnoxious bragging about the weak v8 in the car. It's an automatic, too and has over 180K. Good for cruising with the Tops out in Palm Springs and the exhaust sounds really good, but it's not a racecar; racecar spelled backwards is racecar.

Thanks for the compliments, though. Someday I'll put that 383 stroker with the steath ram in her.
