I don't believe I have any pictures from the crash. It wasn't terrible, just a crunch to the right front. But it was enough to take out the fender, grill, bumper and mess up my brush guard.
Technically, it's the Fastback and not the Razorback. The Razorback stuck up above the roof line while the Fastback is even with the roof. The Razorback also looks like it's attached directly to the back of the cab while the fastback has a definite bodyline gap between it and the cab. I don't like the looks of the razorback either, but do like the fastback. It's a personal thing, I guess. I think it helps the lines flow a bit better.
I also have a nice fiberglass full topper for it for winter, but it's still black from when it was mounted on the truck prior to the crash. I'm not going to bother messing with it until fall and then I'll probably sand it down and repaint it to match the rest of the truck. Then my daughter can haul around things in the back without them getting wet or snowy. Come spring, I'm sure the topper will come back off and the fastback will go back on since it looks sportier.
I'll be honest. The jury is still out whether or not I like the flares. But I really didn't have much choice. There was heavy rust and rust holes around all four wheel well openings and in the fender lips. I replaced the right front fender with an aftermarket fender due to damage incurred in the accident. In order to NOT use the cut out flares, I would have had to replace the left front fender and both box sides. While I am okay at welding on thicker metal, I simply don't have the skills yet to weld sheet metal without horribly warping it. That's why I ended up buying a pair of rust-free doors from ebay. And finding rust-free original doors/fenders/boxes up here is simply impossible. So I went the route of the cut-out flares and wider tires instead.
I definitely would NOT recommend cut-out flares without going with some pretty meaty tires to fill them. In fact, the 32x11.50s on 15x8s may eventually end up getting replaced with 33x12.50s on 15x10s and some carefully measured backspacing. But for now, I'm more concerned with getting it on the road.
I am looking at a set of the Pocket Flares for mine , they are only 1.25 inch flares and they still have the look of the screw on flares m I only have 31x10.50's on 15x7's on my truck
