My SAS Ranger

Hey! We're twins! Minus the 3/4 ton axles of course! Love white stepsides and love the stance of yours

if you get a chance, the next time youre out snapping pics of your truck, could you hook me up with a pic to the backside of your driver side ubolt? trying to see how you went about notching the webbing. seen a few people just throw on a ubolt and it looks to be bending inward, not too fond of that idea

Thanks for the props on my sas. Great job on yours. How did you get around the vss in the rear axle? The 98-00 ranger has the vehicle speed sensor run through the abs tone ring in the 8.8. Without it your speedo wont work and your tranny might not shift.

I have not have had mine on the road yet. from what i have read, the trans should still
Shift. Hopefully by the end of next week i should have it going.

Just have to do some hard line for the brakes and hope to have it on the road by the end of the week. Would of had it done earlyer but ran out of cash, cost alot more than people think.

Its the little things that add up fast and can cost the most in the end.

I have about $6400 wrapped up in mine. That includes everything I bought and what I have made up by selling old parts.

I have about the same into mine, plus the 2500 i paid for the truck and the new welder.

Got my upper shock mounts on and the brake lines mounted.

This is booty hole, ahem, I mean beautiful idea with the heim...I have also seen it done with a pillow block bearing (think carrier bearing) but your method is far cheaper and uses up far less room. Simple. I like it :icon_idea:

Thanks. Was pretty easy to set up too. Just used scrap i had left over and a $30 heim

Sweet build! It will be hard to out grow those axles.

Got her out today, did a few shake down runs around the block to see how she felt.
also gave a bath after being couped up for nine months. Got shocks ordered and should be here next week.
