Holy crap does that 85 look clean!

i would buy the 85 , it is a nice clean truck , test drive it fist thought and make sure she runs good and drives good

Buy that truck. Even if u have to put some money in it. Ditch the shell

Ouch on your Ranger!

For a grand, pick up that '85. It looks like it's in decent shape.

If you dont buy the 85 Ill drive down from Detroit and get it before you! Sorry you lost your "baby" but I think they may have been distracted by the lame non functional vents on the fenders....:icon_rofl:

why not fix the one you have? but i must say the 85 sure is nice

looks like your trucks leakin something. prolly power steering fluid?? i say. buy the 85 for an everyday driver and fix up yours and make it a "project" when your done sell one of them to me...lol

i have to say go with the 85 it looks really nice and if you fine the person who hit your truck i can get some leave and we can say thanks to him haha.....

Yeah, go buy the 85 for a DD and duraspark it, grab your old truck back from the insurance company for cheap, fix it as you get the money, and then once it's drivable again make one of them into a nice trail rig.

Like everyone else is saying, why not try to fix it up. If you dont know what to do, do you have friends that do? I'm sure the forum would help too. I cant tell exactly how bad things are but have you taken talley of everything that was trashed? As long as most of the body is damaged and nothing major like the frame, I would probably go for it. I mean...you might be able to get junkyard parts for this truck for way under a grand AND have a truck you love and trust.

Holy dang, grab that 85!! Given of course, that it's in good shape. And talk them down a little...

Then buy your truck back and fix 'er up as has been said. Solid!

**good running condition I mean.

Does yours have any frame damage? If not I would fix it if you have the time and resources to do it yourself.

Guess I would have to drive the '85 before I could say if it's worth what they're asking.

How the heck is that Ranger totalled? Looks like about the same amount of damage that my mom's Blazer had once. From the looks of things, a new bumper, grill, hood, fender, and a few under the hood parts. And that Ranger should be just as good.
