My Ranger been murdered

I saw, just the other day actually, a guy I work with, his Taurus SHO got hit by a loader. No big deal really, windshield was broken, pass. fender had a dent and the pass. door basically needed replacing. They wrote it off.

Although... I guess we don't know yet if his is totaled or not!

the frame of the the ranger was bent, it was hit so hard that it was pushed 20ft down the road and over the curb.

That sucks. You got insurance or anything on it? Don't spose they found out who did it... you gonna get any money out of the deal?

That '85 looks pretty clean, but the 2.8 is a major detriment IMO, because it's carbureted and will have all the emissions shite. I know you can do the Duraspark swap but I don't know if it's legal for you.

That 85 is a good looking truck but it's not going to be near as comfortable as your 2000.It's going to use more gas and probably has less power. So my point is when you drive it ask yourself if you want to drive this every where and look on the forum for 2.8 mileage so you know what to expect.

happy birthday

2.8 should still have a little more power than the lima, regardless.

probably wanna duraspark it and ditch the emissions carb, get an aftermarket cat, and go with it.

truck is 25 years old, most states don't emissions test things that old.

You mean to tell me noone heard the impact of your truck getting lambasted and pushed 20 ft down the road? Whatever hit it should be limping pretty bad...
