oh and my new 4.0 radiator

i also have valve covers chrome ordered, altrenator bracket chrome ordered, ignition coil chrome, and a chrome fuel pump block off plate. the only things i still need is a 16" electric fan and an oil filter relocator kit

One problem I see you headed for is all the accessory brackets you've bought. The A/C delete is for a serpentine system. Not sure about that P/S bracket. The Alternator bracket I linked you too was for a V belt. But if it all doesn't work, don't feel like the Lone Ranger. We've all been thru that. It's part of the process. Kinda the reason I advised you to pick an application a few posts back (or was it on RPS?) and stick to it.

i know, i ordered the alt bracket yesterday, thats why i never ordered one. well and i knew that the ps pump bracket wouldnt work you told me so, but i didtn think that the ac delete bracket mattered, well ill make my own if i have to

no biggie

now i guess i have to go outside now and pull my seat out and carpet. maybe thatll help with undoing the tranny?

not unless you plan on cutting holes in the trans tunnel.

I don't see where you'll need that A/C delete kit at all. The only purpose it served in a serpentine system was a place to hang a pulley in place of the A/C compressor. Not needed in a V belt setup.

You taking it out from the top?

taking it ou from the top? no?

how do the links come apart? the dont have nuts on the backside... it looks like they press together, and they have like a rubber peice on the back where one link goes through the other

EDIT: this is all thats holding me up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if i get this one off, i can pull the motor

???????????

shot of wd-40 and pry it apart.
its a press fit into the plastic bushing

hmm ok cool deal. well i started to pry on the last one i had, the one above the neutral safety switch, and the bracket coming off the tranny broke, so i can take the motor and tranny out now.

i just have to drop the tranny member and out she comes!

is it tight pulling the motor and tranny together?

i dropped the trans and then pulled the engine.
i think in your case it will be better to pull it all at once.

mine was 2.8 five speed 4x4 with a 3" body lift.

ok cool, well im trying to break the crossmember bolts right now still. but ill get it out TODAY!

what kinda tranny do you think this is? a c5?
