My Key restrictions?

I programmed one of my keys as a MyKey and it now restricts which XM stations I can listen to. I'm a metal head and now none of those stations work. It says "MyKey Restricted". Do I need to just go back to Admin keys and leave it?

I dont know much about that but my daughter had a focus and it was “mykey” programmed. wouldnt go over 80, radio wouldnt work unless seat belts were fastened. She had a 2nd key that wasn’t programmed, I noticed the radio would work without a seat belt and had to see if it would do more than 80, It would! Then a month or so later her insurance rates went up, I didnt know she had one of those things in there that monitors speed/braking/ect. whoops. lol

Yep, stereo was muted until I put my seat belt on too.

I would turn off My Key unless you need a source of aggravation.

I reset the key. Now it's just an Admin key like my other one.

The MyKey feature is a safety feature designed for your kids, not you.
