All I did was change the bulbs to blue LEDs to get my result.

lol Every time I plan on it something gets in the way... Shooting for this weekend again!! I love your truck! IMO those Cragars make it so amazing.. They give it a look you just don't see anymore....

I don't blame you there... I like it alot better than I thought I would... the only downside I see is having to go through all the songs to get to one you want to hear on the IPOD... Unless I am missing something...

Nope, that's how it is. Easiest way is to either list Artists or make a Playlist you like.

lol It's coming... There is always something else in the way though... If I just did it on the new tires it wouldn't be a big deal... But I gotta put on the old ones so I can smoke em good!
 
Finally pulled the 3.08 8.8 out from under the donor truck...

Found both seals are leaking so I'll have to replace those... Thought I had the 245 code solved by cleaning the pig tail on the driver side splash sheild only to be disappointed.
The truck seems to be using a lot of gas and dunno why... If I can't figure out why it is using so much gas I am gonna do the next best thing and put a 351 in it.

I do want to but I'd really rather have the 4.0 getting 25 to 27 MPG... But hell if I can't get better than a 351 may as well switch it out huh..

Well, DANG, you just got it to where you can drive it and it looks killer, now it's going to have to go under the knife again, Hope it doesn't take a real long time to get it finished again.


on a side note, what would happen if a person wet sanded the base coat then sprayed the clear coat on????

There is no benefit to wet sanding basecoat... It would be a complete waste of time unless you run the base or get something in it you can't bury in the clear.. Only wetsand base if you have to... And only the area you need to.. if it is metallic base you probably would ruin it.... In short don't sand it.
