My ranger right after I bought it:

My ranger currently right now (yes I know it has a big dent on the side- got to get that out and that picture was when I didn't have my glasspacks on):

The Ford Courier 4x4 (we used it to carry our hares around- the body is mainly rusted a goooooood bit and the radiator is shot but it was a good truck and could pull):

Thats awsome, did they make the Courier from the factory with a solid axle?

Here is a couple of random shots I took (not much):

There is no back bed. We just built a wooden bed. :-\

Not this one. 4X4. High and low. You will see it in the last bottom picture by the gear.

I was wondering if there is some kind of stuff I can cover up the rust holes up with. Do yall know anything? If not, is it possible to get the grille area and the hood off of the truck and put it on my ranger.
I want it to have the courier/ranger style. I think it would look good.

i meant from the factory. i think the courier only came as 2wd... in which case yours must have been converted.

I think I saw a pair of 4x4 Couriers on CL a little while ago... maybe a dealer option? Ford did that with fullsize vans IIRC.

I am planning to rebuild it over time.
I took out the seat and the floorboard has a couple of rusted holes and a huge one by the clutch area and I need to figure out what I need to do to cover it up. Sheet metal? I do not know.
The outside needs a good bit of bondo on it too and I need to find a back bed.

It has a Ford Ranger motor in it though but the radiator is completely blowed.
The carbuerator needs to be worked on as well as the 4x4 locks, etc.
So basically- I have to start over new.

Well I am wondering what should I do to it. If yall can help me make a decision, please post, cause you don't hardly see these babies around no more.

Stuff that needs to be fixed on it:
Fuel filter, fuel pump, needs a new backbed, bondo over the holes on the outside, carbuerator needs to be fixed, radiator, winch needs to be fixed, new mirrors, new seat, 4x4 locks, clutch, transmission and everything else- lol.

It's a 1978 Ford Courier Barahma 4X4.

Four wheel drive Ford Couriers
The Ford Courier was never available as an OEM 4 wheel drive version in the US (the Mazda B-series didn’t get 4 wheel drive until 1986). However, there were several companies doing 4x4 conversions of the Ford Courier by adding a transfer case and solid front axle beginning in 1975 . From 1975 to 1979 Northwest ATV in Kelso Washington converted about 1500 Couriers to 4WD, which where sold as the Ford Courier Sasquatch, in the WA, OR, CA, and ID markets only. (Ford Sasquatch brochure). Other conversions of early 80's Couriers were done by other companies as well
