My dad is 6 foot 6 with boots on :)

to me super tall would be 7 feet, how long ago was it when you talked to that guy and did he say hes weight ?

my dad was 260 barefeet and 265 pounds with boots on about 5 years ago so he is a big dad dude :)

I am 6 foot 1.5 with boots on and i love my super cab ranger i have lots of room.

As a man I typically don't question other men about their biological details... guessing somewhere between 200 and 240 though

I am 6'5" and I can tilt the seat back farther in the extended cab than I could in my regular cab with the seat all the way back, my 1st Ranger, never again, lol
Besides the head room, I also don't have to lower my head to see when traffic light changes to green, lol

Leg room was not an issue in either regular or extended cab for me, just head room, and all were manuals, size 12/13 shoes
But tilt steering helps with leg room

I'm 6'2" with 32" inseam, size 12/13 boots. I weigh around 215lbs - so just a little bit of a "belly" to deal with. Not a problem in my Ranger. I start getting uncomfortable around the 3-4 hr point in my 93 single cab. I can drive it all day. My legs start getting cramped. I like to change positions occasionally and there's just no place to stretch out. I should probably add that I'm approaching 59 yrs old. So, that may have an effect on my comfort. I've never felt like my shoe size was a problem in the Ranger. Head room is not a problem for me in the Ranger.

Since it seems to keep coming up in this thread, I have no idea what I weighed or how tall I was at birth. It doesn't seem to have any bearing on how I fit in a Ranger these days.

5'8" and i fit fine. lots of leg room and head room.

i bet your dad will not be super comfortable. my friend's dad is right about that height, 6'6", and he drove a fiero for years and loved it so your dad might be all squished up but might like the ranger enough he puts up with it. you will have to put him in one and go for a 30 minute or hour long trip to find out

Are you 6 foot 4 barefeet ? How much further can you tilt the seat back in your extended cab compared to your regular cab ? In my super cab 02 ranger fx4 off road if im sitting completley straight i have to lower my head to see when the traffic light turns to green but maybe im to close to the traffic light but i always try not to pass the white line lol

I wear a size 8/9 boot size im a boot type of guy i like being taller, I agree tilt steering helps with long legs

How do you like being 5 foot 8 and i am 5 foot 11.5 barefeet.

My dad has to have the steering wheel all the way up in my 02 ranger fx4 off road super cab and he is 6 foot 4 barefeet. I have never owned a regular cab ranger but i like the look of them and your right my dad likes my ranger so he puts up with the smaller interior size, even in my full size 93 f-150 he has to have the steering wheel all the way up. I can't put him in a ranger hes to big but i could try lol

:)

what does being built like a brick shithouse mean ? i am 6'1.5 with boots on i was 4 pounds and 7 ounces when i was born but these days i try to stay in good health and strong.
brick shithouse (plural brick shithouses) (slang, vulgar) An article built more robustly than its function requires; implies an element of indestructability

5'8" has worked my whole life. Everything fits, cars are no problems, Chicks love me. If I was rich, it would be perfect.

It's not just the seat backs but in a Supercab the seat tracks go back a little farther than on a regular cab.
I'm 6'1" 175 and mostly legs and have no issues, neither does my son who is 6'3" 235.
Someone who is 265, width is more likely to be an issue. The guy who runs the Sport Trac club, good bud of mine, is well over three bills and doesn't fit well in a Ranger since it's about 10" narrower than a Sport Trac, although the same overall length.

...what does being built like a brick shithouse mean ?...

First, there has never been an extended cab Ford truck but there have been millions of supercabs and the seats do go back father than in a regular cab. My 93 regular cab has Explorer seats that have thicker backs than a Ranger seat would have any my 6' 1" son and his size 13's fit, sort of, with the seat all the way back. I saw some 1997 S10 Blazer seats that have thinner backs and looked comfortable but I'm afraid Chevy parts would inspire my 351 to leak oil.

My little boy is 199.5cm tall (doesn't make 2m :) )/125+ kg in his socks. He is current driving my regular cab Ranger as his personal vehicle. For driving around town, its not too uncomfortable.

He much prefers the 3/4 ton extended/crew cabs he gets for work. Any time he needs to travel any distance, he trades the Ranger for my F-150 (also regular cab, but much more space).

Outhouse aka shithouse: The pit "fills" about every 5 years with average size family. Normally, you have wooden "house" which you move to new pit once the current one fills. A brick outhouse would be too heavy to move.

So, someone "built like brick shithouse" is too heavy (too big) to move.

I've loved my extended cab Rangers.
