my d30 sas

Gotta provide the essential pics. And after an axle swap on a 4x4, parts of the essentials are flex pics!!! Lol. Overall it looks good tho.

My questions:
Are the brake lines long enough to flex it out?
What about the shocks? They look super short.

both should be fine... shocks are towards the bottom end of travel(front springs are a little too weak), when i lift it on the hoist the brake lines still have plenty of room. i reallly need to get the rear lifted up(still waiting on ubolts) and new front springs ordered.

I went to my local farm store and bought my ubolts for my rear axle.

well... in small town iowa we have to go to the big city to get custom sized ubolts. i had my local oreilly's order them from husky spring in des moines. i could have ordered them online but they help me out a bunch on other parts(and i used to be the manager at that store) so i let them get em'

and the flex pics are coming, i did get photobucket to work after installing firefox...so much for windows 7 and internet explorer 9 being so good...lol

What leafs ur using? and hows the ride compared to your stock suspension?
Im leaning to go Leafs when i get the axle.

I use windows 7 and internet exploder 9 for mine. All you have to do is get the image code from photobucket (click on it and automaticlly copies, every picture has its own link thing) then just paste it to the message box on trs, comes with the /IMG code already and just push enter after every picture image and you should be good.

And ya he too is thinking of doing a D30 swap, hince the drool puddles laying around in some parts of trs.

fronts are stock 80's wagoneer, rears are stock '03 ranger 2600lb with chevy shackle and 4-1/2" block...rides much better than stock

blocks in, 6" higher than stock

I hope you didnt stack blocks.

Now that you got it working for you, lets see you put her to some test. At first i drove mine around and got comfortable with it then went and slowly did some light off roading and went more from there. One thing that I alway recommend is doing a weely full inspection of everything that you did to make sure that everything is holding up fine. I do the samething to mine and I have been SASed for almost a year now.

Ill keep the pics that i put up on here for you unless you want to put them up yourself, ones from your albam.

Have to say looks great, now to chage you avatar picture to that one and put that you are in the 1/2 ton SAS group, its all under your user profile on being able to do that one.

no stacked blocks... welded up 3 pieces per side 2-1/2x1-1/2x3/16 tubing that i got from the trailer manufacturer that i used to work for.

i went thru and checked all the the bolts tonight when i put the pinion angle shims in

i will reload the pics(thanks for posting them for me) i had to download firefox to get photobucket to, not sure why it won't work on IE9, seems to be a java issue

I didnt have to use shims when I did mine, my driveshaft angle wasnt hurt by my lift.

BTW.....we want pics of all of this!!!!!!!!!!!! Im seeing drool puddles everywhere now....wonder whos they are.

dude.....go thrash the holy living fawk out of it....then do a diligent nut/bolt inspection and look for frame issues etc.

its either good or bad. can take it or not.
