My Build, All Parts And Prices ***2016 Updated*** still not done...

I had the fullwidth D44 years before UA, and the 5.13's for it... I also have had 4-5 different engines over the past couple years to swap into it, but until december it was my only vehicle and my daily driver so I never really had a chance to do much to it.

I got a company truck... and the build began! The trip made me want a doubler, way more then I ever thought about before but the rest is something I had planned way back but never had a chance to do. Everything kinda lined up perfectly and with the way I was able to sell a majority of the parts, the new ones didn't end up costing me an ungodly amount.

Engine goin in...

Is that a can of Rost Off I see? That's about the best penetrating fluid I've found yet.

Yup, I have a Wurth guy that comes to my shop once a month. So... who has some vette accessories for me? I wanna keep my ranger box.... other option is full hydro or toyota box.

Andrew, i need much more detail into this swap sir.....

Step one: remove engine-steering box w/shaft-heater box-all engine mounts

Step two: drop in and admire how nicely engine fits

Step three: remember you need steering, exhaust, suspension, heater..... etc etc...

Step four: shut off lights and walk back to house, happy yet depressed, thinking of the mile long list of work ahead!

Not sure if you mentioned it all ready, but what's the width on those axles?

69.5" wms-wms, 78" to the outside of the rims using stock 17" H2's for the new spyder trax housings. They can be built to whatever width you want though!

Are you doing a body lift to help with the heaterbox/AC box?

personally id just ditch the a/c ive had it in almost everything ive drove and i dont ive ever used it.

I'll have A/C when i do the swap. Just not sure if i will have to use an under the dash deal, or i can get away with the stock setup with a body lift.

No dice on the A/C and on the body lift. I'll just be happy to get a functional heaterbox back on it for winter.

You could always resort to those under the dash deals. I had one in my old CJ. Worked pretty good.

WTF does no dice mean?? Is that like Canadian slang? lol

A 94' or older non A/C box should be fine, might need a little reforming. Headers are gonna be fun...

As for the slang, I've heard it since I was a kid... dunno eh? lol.
