My Bronco 2

Don't know how far away you are but there is a Pull A Part in memphis!!!! Their stuffs cheap and it's the bomb for JYs. Gravel, everything up on homemade stands so you can get under it. Research what you can use off something else, then go raping!! You can even use a sawzall!!! No torches, jacks or car batteries. Check them on the web, you can check inventory before you go! And Prices! :icon_thumby:
Also try TN Off Road forum on the web. Registration is free. I found my 37 IROKs there for $450, a DANA44 E Locker buried in a Dodge axle for $300 and RangerSVT & mine donor vehicle for my 5.8L, ZF & 1356M! A lot of stuff on there from MS & AL so shouldn't be too far away! Yeah it says TN Off Road but there's stuff from TN, KY, MS, AL, GA, & I think I even seen something from AR!!!! :icon_thumby: :headbang:

i completely miss your comment yesterday lol
but yes, Pull A Part is awesome. my starter, alternator, several sensors, the overhead console for 4x4 touch stuff, and many other parts came from PAP. and i plan on making a JY run once i get a list of what i need.

and yeah i think i have a TN offroad username... i'll have to look.
one of my friends found an explorer there with a superlift 4" kit complete, 1354m, jet performance chip, tom woods driveshaft, roof basket rack, and couple other items out there-- got it all for $300... i was mad-- well jealous!

Got a quote today from a local shop on doing the dirty part of the SAS.
I need to figure out what joints to invest in. Ones from trail gear? Currie? What size is needed for long arms and steering?

Curious to how close my hella's are to my headlights so I took this

:icon_rofl::yahoo::headbang:
and why whacked?????
never thought of it that way..

however, i do want to incorporate some flood patter lights somehow. those hella's are a spot... i have 4 flood patters (eBay brand, but made just like the hella), i might try to add 2 of those somehow or replace the hella's with the eBay ones..

any thoughts on the fair roller light bracket? i can't find it now but it bolts to the fair roller somehow.

idk if i wanna do 2 lights or 4. :icon_confused:

would be pretty easy to make a bracket like your talkin bout. however From experience these light are very prone to braking, I have taken out several pair's on the trail's the next setup will definately be protected a little more with a little less bumper. puttin my truck on a diet and bumper's are gettin minimized lookin into makein a bumper similar to your's that houses all of my light's and the winch. hella make's these light's in pencil and flood pattern FWIW.

as for the lyric's:
Madman drummers bummers, Indians in the summer with a teenage diplomat
In the dumps with the mumps as the adolescent pumps his way into his hat
With a boulder on my shoulder, feelin' kinda older, I tripped the merry-go-round

??? I dont get it ???

for the lyrics-- try acid or something and then re-read them, see what happens? lol

and yea i'm trying to find a way to keep the lights pretty far back so maybe the bumper would take the abuse and not the lights. and i'd for sure make the bracket, not buy it! i'm just gonna play around- mount one of the others up and see if i like the flood more than the spot. with how bright my headlights are- its not that bad anyways.

on the rear i'm gonna recess mount some rectangle lights in the rear bumper.. might do the same in the front with some fogs or something (like JoshD on the yellow ranger)

Talked to a buddy of mine and he grabbed me the 5 speed from an ex. Md05. Says he might be able to get the 1354m to!!!! 5 speed swap won't be in my near future tho. To many other plans right now. Like axles. I can't finish my 8.8 till I get another axle shaft. I have one but it's a 100 miles away. And I ain't had time to go get it. It's worn at the bearing. Looking for gears for the d30 now. Need to go ahead and order 4.88's for it and not put the front driveshaft in after the swap till I regear the rear and get 33's or 35's. What is 4.88's and 33's like? Lol. Keep in mind it is an auto. I don't want 4.10's for 33's. Maybe with the 5 speed but not the auto. And I may not ever put the 5 speed in my b2. I like being lazy when driving lol

crawlin is gonna be better with the auto and 4.10's but road would prolly be better with the manual
