My Bronco 2

been trying to mark some other stuff off the list. I still forgot to get pics of the coil spring buckets I made... crap.

added some progressive rate James duff 5.5" EB coils, hopefully they'll settle just a hair. My rear has 5.5" lift over stock. right now the 5.5" coils sit the front a little higher than the rear. closer to 6-6.5" of lift. Hopefully it'll align, I might have to move the axle down in the VMS bracket and get a non-RC bracket for the driver side that has the 6" hole in it also.

other things marked off the list is: wiring loom on certain places, slack found and fixed on pinion, and a few small things.

You say you had wiring damage. Are the pump grounds intact?

Everything is fine now on the wiring. Truck runs great again.

Yeah... It has the pee-pee dance going on

I think I need 6" lift brackets and then I need to modify my superrunner steering. I ended up with a little more lift then my original plan but it sits level this way. I like the stance.

Good Lord, how you going to fix that?!?

id keep your drop brackets and do a cut n turn. to keep some more clearance instead of having a snowplow

Cut and turn beams are in the plans, but not soon, unless I was to attempt it myself lol. I have another mostly complete 35 for spare parts that I'm keeping for when I wanna do a cut and turn job.

I say put a heavier engine under the hood, that will help.

I'm glad i went SAS. I would have hated to drop a 302 and fullsize trans under my hood then have to mess with the front suspension due to the extra weight.

Looks like you're having a hard time finding a happy mediem.

Have you tried moving it at all? It WILL settle quite a bit when you pull forward/backward.

Go drive her and take her on a few back roads and see what she does. Flex it as hard and as much as you can.

I've drove it. Forward brings the front in and higher. Backwards brings it out and lower lol.

Set your toe and try again. Most likely will need drop brackets. Or you could cut a couple of the coils out of the spring.

This has nothing to do with your springs. But, I was woundering how well your F150 does towing the B2. Thinking about purchasing one myself.

1. not cutting coils. I need the height to sit level. I am planning on setting the toe tonight. Also my passenger side bracket has the 6" hole on it. It's a VMS bracket on it. The driver side is the Rough Country bracket.

2. The 2004 f150 pulls the B2 fine. It's the 5.4L auto. Tuned with the Bully Dog Power Pup. From Memphis to Seymour MO I got 10-11 MPG's. The only issue I had was slower traffic at the base of the mountains. For occasional towing, like I'll do.. The f150 works great. If you're gonna tow every other weekend, get a diesel. Only thing I wish was it had a little better gearing, it's 3.55. I'd like 3.73's. Overall tho it really impressed me. I will be adding helper air bags to help with the weight tho.

just build an explorer to pull it hahahaha . mine pulls amazingly beleve it or not. feels much more anchored to the road and doent sway. even in evasive manuvering it feels much better with a load behind it.
