My Bronco 2

I've been working double shifts.. I'll update tomorrow with more details.
basically I made a drop bracket that has 4" and 6" holes.. then I redesigned my radius arms slightly b/c of the angle they were holding the axle in the pivot brackets, I didn't like it...so I fixed it. Hopefully, I don't get called into work tomorrow and I can work on it some more.

Basically the B2 is looking more and more like an Expo/Camping/Hunting rig and of course my DD once I get back to driving it.

Kevin there are Explorer plans in the works... probably start on it late summer.

anyone remember this beauty?

so your building it for good wheelin then not worried bout dents or dings

So what rumor transmission? If it's a strict wheeling rig your building, go with an np435 and np205 then dual stick it.

Trans will be auto of some sort. For a couple reasons.
I'm lazy. Rock crawling, I'll take an auto any day. I promised Cati if I built it it'd be auto. She's still gonna learn a manual, but she'd never be comfortable with it on a trail. I wanna keep this a couple thing for us since she enjoys it to.

On the B2..

Went back to the 3.5" EB coils. Brings back down to 4" lift instead if 6.5"... Lower COG. Less spring. The 5.5 coils were causing issues and I really just wanted it back lower than that.

Next I'm going to build my RA's longer to stretch it out a little to help with tire clearance. Lower and longer. Just going a couple inches over stock wheelbase.

I'm so far behind on this... working 50 hours a week tends to do that. I'm sure y'all have noticed I'm not as active. I'm still alive and all.

The B2; wheelbase stretched 2", it's aligned. my rear soft brake line (the feed) committed suicide, it came untied and melted itself on the exhaust.

only thing right now is I have to trim the front a little so it doesn't rub when flexed, I'm gonna try to find out the easiest cleanest way to do this.

next is bastard pack of leafs for something with a little better flex and that is about an inch lower... once that is done, I'll bump stop it where it needs to be... remember this is a camping/expo/slight rock/daily driver/hunting build.. not a major trail rig.

on the explorer; well that's still in planning. I'm actually gonna start a thread on it soon for planning out and getting input from y'all before I start buying stuff and ending up with something I don't need lol.
Go here to talk about the explorer... Kroussin, I want your input for sure.

Re-arching the opening, so to speak... Need a little more clearance.

I thought your bumper side came all the way back on the side of the fender ?!?

Robert

posted with a tip: you can only advance a (raid) quest while in a raid group.

Nope.. that's the way it's been.
I did cut part of the fenders before, but just straight across what hung below the bumper.

DD'ed it for the last 3 days and it feels AWESOME.

still have some stuff to address but hey, I've missed my truck. Today I greased the window tracks and locks on the passenger side, still gotta do the driver. It didn't quite do the trick to my sticky locks tho...

did some nicknack crap today;
greased the windows and door locks and they both work great now.
tightened my steering column
greased a bunch of crap
made sure all the grease zerks are good n full on the steering and flex joints
put my steering column cover back on
etc, just trying to make it DD again

also finally ordered these:
