My Bronco 2

I'm still interested .......

really? you ain't lifted yet??? nice. We'll talk. :icon_thumby:
I'm gonna wait till I'm done with my swap and try to get all the nuts and bolts where they need to be, so you can get hardware to. :icon_thumby:

Looks like that joint is awfully snug in there....looks as though your going to snap off the grease zerk, on top of having no room for articulation of the joint.

yeah, I'm debating my best option here.
I have zerk plugs, so I wouldn't have to leave the zerks in.. flip the joint over and just plug the zerks till I grease up. :icon_confused: idk yet.
edit: also there is a little more room than the pic appears to have.

My rear is lifted, but I've been waiting on something to come through.

School clothes and supplies came first for the kids, then my alternator on my f150. Blah, blah blah.

I've got a few weeks. I'll be swappin in my D35 at the same time.

alright. If you ain't to worried about the bolts/nuts... we can talk now. I need money for shocks :icon_rofl:
but seriously, after I get my d35 bolted in, I'm just gonna leave all the nuts/bolts with the kit and go from there.

had some set backs today; but got a good bit done.
to tired to work anymore, to tired to take pics.

country001, I've not forgot about you... sorry I didn't give you a call over the weekend, had some family stuff come up.

Just scored some Bilstein 5150's for a heck of a price. Just ordered them "new to me".. Will be a nice touch to my b2.

arms measure 36" from mounting hole to mounting hole. Had a dentist appt after work so I didn't get to do much to my truck, my mouth hurts...

I hope you're double shear mounting that transmission crossmember and rounding off all sharp edges on that mount. Sharp edges are where the steel will rip.

I'm not worried about the trans Crossmember. 2 grade 8's and tack welded. It'll hold. It'll be stouter than the original crossmember that had to grade 5 bolts in it. It won't go anywhere.

The back of the radius arm mounts are probably gonna be angled off; if nothing else it'll look better. Lol.

crossmember/RA mounts-- bolted up
RA's-- In
Coils-- In with custom bottom coil perches
so far so good... took more cutting/grinding to make it fit then I thought it would...
the coils look to give me the right height or maybe about an inch to much... but I'll just level out the rear if that's the case. right now the coils don't wanna sit in there straight even tho the bottom and top are lined up... idk.

here's an explanation of what I did to make the bottom of the coils mount up;
I took a 3/16's piece of metal, cut a 4.5 inch round piece then welded a 2.5" piece of pipe on the top middle of that (just tall enough to clear the bottom coil of the spring) then took a 4" piece of round flat metal on top of the bottom coil... tighten it down with the factory nut on the factory stud. I think I have pics of this... If not, sorry but I'm not taking them back off! lol

Third member bolted and sealed it.
Driver side shaft spindle bearings rotor hub on this morning.

Gotta tackle the passenger later.

plan for tomorrow is driver brakes and superrunner steering kit (if I have time before work).
I would like to pick up new TRE's, but I might just do that later on.
