My Bronco 2

i just saw someone who was.... i cannot for the life of me remember who though.. nice avatar by the way

thank ya. the funny thing about that avatar pic is that i was making fun of one of my "import" friends about how low they put the camera to take the pic-- then i took this, and liked it...lol.

i think those coils are the ones i'm gonna use. i know stock tj's aint gonna give me my lift i need..

I have a set of those coils I not going to use anymore. They are the 4" but were to much lift for what I want. They are what is pictured in my avatar. If interested, PM me..?

we did leaf's on the B2 and it was super easy, cheap and perform's pretty nice. everything worked out so nicely gonna retain the factory front driveshaft, reused some shock mounting hardware. steering was the right length just had to swap out the tre on the pitman arm, and threw some wheel adapter's on the rear. If I had to do mine all over again (hadnt spent the money on the arm's) i would definately go leaf. so easy and so straight forward.

how does leafs on a b2 drive for dd?

but for leafs i need to find a d44?? then i'd have to use adapters for the rear, then get rims... idk, i'm gonna look at that idea.. see what it looks like costs wise.

this is where a girl at the college decided she would test out my bumper for me, on the right side corner of my bumper. she hit it with a ford ranger.. busted her headlight out, didn't even scratch my bumper. lol. sucks for her. she was freaked out- had never hit anything before. she had a nice 07 ranger tho. 4x4 ext cab. on bfg at's.. was even dirty, and it is HER ranger..

no SAS is gonna be as good as the TTB for a daily driver. but would definately say it's the same as my coil setup.

there is a reasone most truck's are now sisified. because the paying majority want's something that is smooth on the road has all the luxury's of a car but isnt a car and also get's the same mpg's. if you want something that perform's like truck's used to (haul's, wheel's, and last's). it's gonna be like one of the old truck's it's gonna be rough, loud and your really gonna have to pay attention when driving it. Or your gonna have to spend top dollar for the build and replacement part's. everyone drool's over the raptor's but here's one thing to think about when something break's or wear's out on that truck do you think it's gonna be a easy fix such as throwing a set of shock's on it from downtown?

i understand all of that.. and actually the sas might ride better. have you ever rode on RC lift coils??? they are freaking stiff, i'm not sure my front springs will flex at all!!!!! its retarded. that's why i KNOW i gotta get different coils.. the long arms are the main thing i'm worried about on my sas money wise...

but looking at Jester's- the leaf swap could be super cheap and easy compared to my long arm idea.

idk.. i want coils, i really do-- but the leaf could be cheap and easy. i think ill hold out for coils and stuff. but we'll see. i'm tossing around the idea. i'd have to find a 44 and adapters for my rear, and rims.. idk... i'm thinking hard.

Have you checked out my B2 build page. If not search for "Dirty White Boy"

went from VERY stock to 3'' BL added 6'' SL and now it's solid 44 with leaf's. when the TTB was under there we had a total of 6 different spring combo's in the front and none felt quite right. but they all felt better on the road. anywhere from way too soft with the jeep coil's to way too stiff with a misc pair of ford coil's. as far as on road i am talkin bout overall road manner's. the solid axle vehicle's act quite differently on the road expecially when you start adding height to them. as for front spring rate on the b2 were running a pair of explorer rear's up front and they seem to be perfect. so the b2 offically is running explorer spring's on all 4 cornere's

i'm gonna look at it again.. see what research i can dig up.
i still want the coil setup tho.. i guess i need to hold out to what makes me happy.. not just settle on something. i will continue to look at other builds and see what i can come up with.

So you had to get the college girls info eh? I mean she did hit you and has a nice truck. Hey your even good at body work be all nice and fix it for heR i see a pretty good in here....

i'm happily in a relationship, not looking for another girl.. but i did offer to swap out the headlight for her once she buys it. she has my number and will call me if she wants me to do it. i have her name and number yes, but insurance info- no. b/c i didn't need it, it didn't do anything to my b2.

gotta say, think i like the look of the rack up there.. the plan is to make it removable if i do mount it up. explorer roof rack with feet on the rack that slide in the roof bars of the ex's rack, and pig tail on the lights so the rack can come off and the only thing up there is the bars that run the length of the truck. any input?

I lime it. Even If you don't make it removable it doesn't stick up that much
