I took the truck out for a drive today, got about a mile and half from my house and heard a weird hissing/gurgling sound from under the truck/behind the dash. I pulled into a gas station, parked and hopped out. Look under the truck, and its gushing oil, lots of it. All of it, to be precise.
I open the hood and it looks like there's been an oil explosion centered around the oil filler cap. Upon a bit closer inspection, the PCV valve is popped out of its spot, just dangling around. I paid 60 bucks to get towed a mile and half, because I didn't feel comfortable driving it dry, and don't know anyone with a trailer....
All I can figure is that somewhere there was too much pressure, causing oil and pcv to be expelled...but where, and why?
