my B2

trashed the gears and broke the housing. Shaft looks ok. Need to get another case for sure though to chop up. Broke windshield and smashed the whole driver side of the truck also.

everything was going good till the case blew up

Is that the tow truck driver standing in the ditch? :thefinger:

Major bummer dude. I know the pic doesn't do it justice, but the ditch looks like fun. I've spent hours playing in big washouts and ditches and shit.

i see what your were describing now. i had it pictured differently.

leaning toward fatigue on this. unless it does it similarly and in short order again. then i will be leaning towards c6/aod 205 or some stak type thing.

bummer:sad:

update pics.

looks good, outa stay togather now...

You've got poly motor mounts and a poly trans mount? Even with the t-case mount being rubber, the offset from the driveline centerline will make it resist more rotation than the poly trans mount will. That's my guess anyways.

look's sweet, lovin the skidplate.

as far as the terrain up here
wraped pipes + mud = the loose
along with the open air filter

I wish there were more rock's in the area, mud is fun but lead's to extremely high water bill's

looking good!

thanks mang

I hope so. I never ripped t-case off before, but I did break my rear mount, so I changed to this poly bushed tube.

motor mounts are vulcanized rubber, they are stiff. Trans mount is energy suspension poly. that new rear mount is poly.

this is my old style:

that mount ended up coming apart in clayton, which is why I changed to the poly bushed tube style.

I tend to agree with you, the trans mount resists lifting, the offset mount I have built supports the load of the doubler, and resists rotation.

how many times have I posted pics of my truck covered in mud? I hate the stuff. I would possibly get into it if it was all I had to play with, but I would definitly need to address way more mud friendly issues with my truck than just the filter and pipes wrapped:D Like getting hit in the back of the head with dirt clods:headbang:

Thanks for the compliment on the skidplate... especially since last summer when I made it, I did it on the cheap.

I had a buttload of 1/8" laying around from when I built the bed, and I didnt want to dish out the $200 some bucks for a sheet of 1/4 to build my plate.

so the entire thing is double sheeted:

and yes, its heavy.

the open cab definately would be an issue. definatley built for a different terrain and climate. i like the idea of a skid on my truck however I hate gettin all the mud from between the skid and motor on my bike, ide hate to have to do it on my truck too. hopefully i never get into some rock's to the point where i would need one. as of right now i typically throw the lawn sprinkler under my truck to soften up the mud then just come out and pressure wash it all off bout an hour later. washing all the mud off is a half day ordeal. but it beat's the alternative of replacing seal's constantly and having mud completely encasing very important item's. or building a steet truck and loosing my license (again)

BTW, thanks for NOT answering my message :thefinger:

I sent you a PM last night about the PS pump

How do you like the Broader valve body? I've been thinking of ordering their reverse manual for my C5.
