funny. I had one more motor under my bench I bought for parts. It needs a crank kit. But after giving it a thorough once over. Seems to be the best one out of all of them. So I’ll go ahead and dingle berry hone it and get. Crank kit.

Did your builder say what he thought happened to it.

I asked if it had a tune cause it looks like detonation to me.

Well at least you have choices... still a bummer though.

He said it was a marine motor. And it blew a headgasket and over heated.
