hey looks good, two questions though...what you have for rear end? 4 10s? 3 83? and secondly...why did you go with the AFR 205s? i bet you would have got a lot more out of a set of AFR 225s.

damn thats a sick truck!!!!!! but yea it could be a little lower but still awe:icon_hornsup::icon_cheers:some!

sweet truck. when you say probe you mean ford probe right?

The 205 head allows plenty of breathing and is very good for the street. A larger head may get you more peak hp but may be a little less on torque. This engine makes a ton of power and doesnt need to be turned up to 6000rpm. Built for torque, dual plane intake, custom cam and the cid all equal torque numbers. Others have opinions that i could have gotten more hp with the victor intake and 225 heads and not had any issues with driveability since its not a heavy truck. I would rather have the torque then 40 more horse tho. Its estimated a good amount over 500hp and have bigger torque numbers. Plenty... I assure you i did tons of homework before i started, 205s were what was recommended.

thanks for the comments guys! oh yeah.. and im running 3.55s

and for the height.... well, i live in maine where the roads are not pretty and have 3" exhaust and long tube headers stuffed under there. could maybe go another couple inches tho. If i had time to work on it i would pick away, its a never ending project.

Downey, probe is the manufacturer of the components, its not from a ford probe. http://www.probeindustries.com/ ,I think it may be made by coast high performance out of california.

Don't lower the truck. Leave it as it is, no one will have any idea what you have under the hood. At least until you hit the gas pedal :). Nice truck, I wish I had that engine for my Bronco II

hey, i get what youre saying, makes sense since oyu have a dual plane. We built a 427W for a fox body, and used a set of AFR205s. It has a single plane though, and there isnt quite enough airflow AFAIC, would be better with the 225's. For your application it makes sense. Good call.

Oh and i see youre running a t5, what clutch you using? in the future when you blow it up (LOL) you may want to try a TKO600, weve had good luck with that tranny.

yeah, if you run high rpms a bigger head would work nice for more airflow. I have the HD 5 spd with no issues yet! Zoom stage 3 clutch.. not sure if its holding very good tho :icon_confused:

sleeppppppppppppper :) good work, dude. not a soul will think twice of that truck til you toast their asses on the drag.

How do you have it dropped 1/3? I'm just wondering because in the pictures it looks totally stock, unless you have small tires or something.
