Yep it's a damn 302 intake. eBay took me for my money. Now im at a crossroads. I thought I got a good deal, but it was just a case of false advertising. They advertised it as a lighting upper and lower and obviously that's not the case. So I've got $300 invested in this, and I need a new lower. Do I sell my current upper and lower and try and get my money back?
Or do I just sell the lower and find a new lower (currently $500 on ebay)
Or just buy a new trick flow intake setup
Yeah kinda leaning toward that now. I just opened an eBay case for a refund, hopefully the seller will just refund me my money and I can send this back
Well eBay dispute is going poorly. I am being accused of scamming and using multiple accounts to bid by the seller. I have no idea what he is talking about. The description says mustang or lightning gt40 intake. I assumed he was talking about the cobra that also used the same intake as the lightning.
Has anyone gone through an eBay dispute before? I guess if he refuses to refund it goes higher up to eBay customer service.
i wish my phone was working last week! i was in abq and wanted to see the truck. sucks but ill be moving to colo springs next summer and my inlaws live in abq so at least ill have some wheeling buddies close.
I have fought stuff on Ebay and paypal - it can take a while - took mine 45 days but the add is printed and they have records of it - if it doesn't work on the 351 and the add states it will - then it's false advertisment and you win. Make sure you let Paypal/Ebay know when they contact you - you do not want to keep it - you just want the correct parts as they were advertised, and I would Not leave feedback yet until it's all over. Just trying to share some of my past expeirence with you
Well the seller was a complete doosh and refused giving me a refund. He was very rude and had extremely poor customer service. Within 6 hours of being escalated to eBay customer service I was decided to be right and will be receiving a full refund upon the seller getting it back. Win for me haha!
eBay requires I send customer service a tracking number so they will know exactly when the package arrives. And it's a po box so it won't mysteriously vanish from someone's door step
