My 91 Ranger the stRanger

Over the B2?! What ever happened to that 14 bolt you bought? Dude you gotta build something up!

Yeah not sure when this will be on the good side of the Rockies. I'm trying to get orders anywhere and it's not looking so good. My enlistment is up in 10 months if I don't get orders so we will see. You and Jeff need to build your shit up!

Depending on if I get it finished or not, a Moab trip is possible this month. I have until the 26th on leave so we will see.

Pulled the electric case out of the truck, chopper the crawl box up and ground down the block off plates. Getting the right screws tomorrow to bolt the crawl box the tail housing. I also need to look for a 90 degree fitting for the breather.

Also got my warn premiums installed

Tomorrow hopefully the doubler will go together, I'm going to pull the bed to get ready to do the rear. I still need to figure out what I'm going to do about driveshafts; probably get 2 new ones made up

The doubler is mostly together. I'm waiting for the sealant and thread lock to cure to fill it up and close it up. Those internal Allen head screws that hold the 2 plates together were a total PITA!

Ok quick question. I am swapping out my super cab tank for a single cab tank and I noticed 2 differences. The fuel pump mounting ring and the hole next to it. In my tank there are 2 lines going to it and in the new one there is a spot for a single line. How or can I swap these over?

The piece with the the two lines going to it is the check valve fir the EVAP lines. You should be able to pop it and swap them. They are just popped in a rubber grommet. The barbs are very brittle.lol

I was able to just drop my supercab pump right in the reg cab tank and used the plastic lock ring. I they are bent differently, but the pump is still at the same depth in the tank. My fuel gauge seems to be proportional and if I run until the check gauge light pops on I can put 15.5 gals in it.

I would have used the reg cab pump, buy my super has stainless lines and the reg didn't.

Thanks for the info plum, I got the fuel pump and vent successfully transferred over.

Right now I have the bed pulled off and mounted the rear tires. I am waiting for the 63" swap kit from ruff stuff. I am thinking I will weld the new mounts under the frame rails but I'm not sure if it will work the way I want. I am keeping the fuel tank in the stock location so I can't move the axle any further forward. It just doesn't look like there is much room on the bottom of the frame to weld perches and hangers. We will see when the kit comes in. If it doesn't work the way I want I will just move my front hangers forward and go with Chevy 63" lift springs. They are way cheaper than ranger springs. Any thoughts? I am currently running a deaver pack and belltech shackle that's about 3" lift and I need about another 3"

Got my shocks in today. I also moved the axle forward about and inch. Installed the tires and adapters on the rear. Really I am waiting for my ruff stuff package and the bender. Tomorrow I will cut the front fenders, and hopefully start the rear.

Put the gas tank and skid back in, filled up the doubler, cut the driver fender so far, and cleaned up the garage. Rear should get done tomorrow and put the bed back on.

Haha yeah right! Thanks though. I pretty much cut where you did right along the edge of the flare. I have some pacer flexy flares to throw on but I'm waiting to flex it out for clearance
