My 91 Exploder

Did the poor mans high steer aka moved the tie rod otk. Also got some poly bushings that go in place of the dust boots on the tre's to stop the tie rod roll. Fixed the slight dead spot it had in the steering.

Has to put the stock pitman arm back on to keep the drag link and track bar angles the same. Hows this for geometry? Looks pretty close to me. lol

Been driving it daily. Rides like a cadillac now. I am very pleased with it. Nice and firm, no bump steer what so ever, doesnt sway, and tracks straight as an arrow.

Also picked up the Vision X led rock lights brand new still in the box for a killer deal so I said what the hell. Why not.

Made up some little brackets to mount all the lights just a little bit ago and going to try to get them all put on tomorrow.

Diggin it! Only one problem with it, it is too clean!

I do have some inserts coming from Ballistic Fab to weld in the knuckles to move the tie rod on top of the knuckles so it will move the tierod up around 3-4 inches.

how much were those inserts to move the TRE to the top of the knuckle? i cant find em on the ballistic fab website, think you could make me a link if its not a pain, id like to do the tre flip on my eb d44

Well messed with the doubler a little bit this past weekend. Its tight without a body lift and you not able to clock the rear case up any without cutting a big hole in the floor.

Going to try to get some more done on it this weekend.

sweet. i want one! lol..

nice, so i assume this is going to be a triple stick truck?

Final crawl ratio now will be 111:1 compared to the 38:1 it had with the old ttb junk. Should be flippin sweet.

i'm still jealous... i looked at doublers all night last night... ALL YOUR FAULT! :D

111:1? what's your mph going to be, with tires and such, at redline in 1st?

Crawl is calculated in lowest gear. Not in the gears he will be driving around town in

of course

Just did some quick calculatuons and im getting 4.9 mph in 1st double low at 5500 rpm.

WOW that's futting nucks! so you're looking around .75mph at idle then... (based on a division of just over 5)

Yep, something like that. Cant wait to try it out.
