My 91 Exploder

Are you still going to run 4.88's or go with something else?
I remember you had two set of axles.

Are you going to run that Spartan locker or did you have a Aussie for the front?

Just wondering which one you like better. I have the itch to put one in my Dana 35......just not sure which one to go with.

Looks like it won't be long and you will be tearing crap out:icon_welder:

Running 4.88 and spartan up front and lock right in the rear.

I have a aussie in the rear and a lock right in the front of my axles now.

They all work fine. I would just get the cheapest one.

Hey Fox when you put your locker in your Dana 35 did you re checked your gear pattern when you reinstaled the diff?

Just wondering if I really want a front locker and and all of the install hassle.
This summer I got to tear into my front end. I need to replace the radius arm bushings, and was going to install my custom coil spring spacers, manual hubs then alignment.

On your sas are you going to run the stock brake booster and master cylinder?

I also am going to scrap out my 79 Bronco for the axles of course and was wondering if I should keep its brake booster and master cylinder.......going to be busy this summer.

anyway to get a template or even just buy a trac bar mount? i'm gonna need one for a d30 swap on my b2.. don't know if the same one works or not tho..

nice EX, i love it.. kinda makes me want to build an EX now to...

Pretty sure it will be into production at Duff before long and anybody can get one then.

Also got my rock rings welded on. Shot them with some paint right quick to keep them from rusting. Going to clean them up real good and paint them better when I get the chance.

Got the York ready to go on also.

Going to try to get a bracket made for the york tomorrow. Might even put on the manual doors if there is time.

Well took the explorer out wheeling for the last time with it current setup yesterday. Not too much damage. Just typical stuff. Another window, more body damage, and another axles. Broke the short inner passenger side this time. A buddy of mine went along in his Sammi he just got the the first time. It will be unstoppable with some gears and lockers.

Was trying to go up a slick ass hill in 2wd and about made it to the top on the second try and it started sliding back down and got little bit off to the side and slide right back into a tree. Busted out the rear window and bent up the hatch a little.

Here is a few pics.

Hooked the winch up to a tree and started winching it off and damn near pulled the tree down on top of the explorer. Let off and it stood back up so moved on back to the next bigger tree and winched it off.

Video my buddy got in a little mud hole. Watch the front tires the second time I hit it and you can see them come off the ground a little bit.

Going to start tearing it apart this coming weekend so stay tuned.

dude i love your hurst shifter, did you get it straight from hurst or what? whats the link?

Looks like you had a good time. How well do you like those BFG's in the mud?

Looks like they gum up in that muck you were in, but it also looks like a clay mixture.

I am just looking at different tire options in 33's for my ex. So far the BFG's are a good price range.

That Sammi needs some lockers and that little bomb will be unstoppable.
Can't wait to see the sas build.:icon_thumby:

Got some work done last night. No more body lift, no more slider, and no more suspension. Stay tuned for more later tonight. About to head back down and start working again.
