And that brings us to today. Picked up a winch at 4 Wheel Parts. Going to try to get it installed tomorrow.

nice work so far!

im guessing you're planning on wheeling with it alot?

keep the pics coming dude!

Yep. Going to go wheeling with it. I am eventually going to sas it with A D44 and 9 inch in the rear.

$324 and some change out the door. It was $299.99 before tax.

Looks like a good deal for 400 bucks...even with a dead trans! It must be in good shape still since you are putting money into it! Good job man

i like the cargo box a lot. whats in store for this ex?

Full width D44 and 9" and probably a doubler.

Nice... so did you build the cargo box?

Got the winch mounted. Used a universal winch plate for now. When I go to make a Bumper for it I will probably just go off of it. I mounted the control box behind the grill.

Also got one of the Chevy service lights. The one with the wind up cord that will reach all the way around the back.

What kind of chevy did the service light come out of or go to, like the idea of having one.

They come on late 80's early 90's fullsize trucks. I have seen them on Suburbans and the trucks. Usually mounted on the passenger inner fender.

Nice build I have my cb in the same place fits nice and snug.

Heres my bumper on my truck to give you an idea for adding to yours, you should have mounted your winch lower and between the frame that way ya didnt have to cut up the grill that much.
