So I got my ranger from my grandfather but it has been sitting for about 4 years I finally got it up and running but I plan on painting it gloss black and putting blue shocks and blue calipers under black rims with chrome mirrors and bumpers. any thoughts?

Im going from the stock 14 to 15 and as for a lift im not sure yet aint much reason to because its only 2wd and its more going to be for cruising.

My advice would be to make sure you don't want to lift it before you start buying new tires and rims etc.. Last thing you want to do is buy all the new stuff and then rebuy the same stuff a year later because you decided to lift it after all.

and just cause its 2wd doesnt mean n e thing. theres more lifted 2wd's where i live than 4wd's... what size motor? manual or auto tranny?

I'm not a fan of mall-crawlers. My opinion is that if you have no intention of wheeling it, don't spend the extra money that it takes to lift a truck.

And if you are going to lift it, just do a 2-3" body lift so you can stack some meatier tires in there.

I dont plan on lifting this truck I actually plan on racing it currently everything on it is stock with the 177 2.9 liter engine and auto tranny I plan on building a 302 to put in it
its just my little project right now.

If you plan on building/racing it, I would worry about cosmetics last. You don't want to worry about damaging your new paint while you're dropping a new motor in, etc.

Figure out what you want to build and what you want the truck to run. Start from the rear-end and work your way forward.
