I get off of work here and headed to get new to me seats and another transmission for the Bronco. Slow and steady progress on each one. I may have found a rust free bed for my truck. Will see later this week.

I got the Cruise Control horn assembly. I still need to get the dump valve bracket. I bought this steam cleaner. It did not do well for cleaning grime off of the assembly. Hoping it works for cloth seats.
Guy had a wrecked Ranger. This might be factory. I just wanted the hoops as they are bolted on. As I understand it, after market is welded on.
I don’t think I could get the steel flattened back out. I will have my new to me hoops welded on.
I did get my brush guard on. I need to blacken the bolts and get the hoops welded on at a later time.
I got another set of air lumbar seats. Will take the best if both and figure out the wiring and get these in soon. I want a center console and a place for a drink holder.

I got a transmission for the Bronco. I was told the A4LD can be a 2 pin or 3. Mine is supposed to be a 3 pin. I was unaware of pins.
Cleaning and repairing. I still need to get another badge.
I’m liking this 2 part epoxy. It worked great on fixing the grill.
I got one complete passenger seat. I will have to take the slider off of drivers seat on my truck to get a drivers seat. Tried cleaning with steam cleaner, brushes, and vacuum cleaner. It helped but what I am wanting it to just yet. I have a dirt extractor to be here tomorrow.
I am using 91 panels but like period correct panels. This one is dirtier than it looks. Getting everything ready so I can do it all at once when I do the headliner.
A lot cleaner than it was but will try dirt extractor tomorrow.
I got this cleaned. Went to install it and several panels will need removed. I will install it when I do the headliner liner. An option my truck did not come with.
This was the dirtiest seat. A lot cleaner.

This mirror was doomed with a big crease in it. I tied to remove dent from inside but the bolts that hold it togeter was not budging. So I old schooled dent removed it. Drilled some holes, put in a screw and pulled the dent out.
Scuffed really good with 80 grit and applied body filler.
It turned out really well. I used self etching primer and then trim paint. I still have brackets to work on. Really hoping I can get the chrome scuffed good enough to hold paint. I would like black mirrors and there maybe hope for these that would have got trashed otherwise.
I was really happy with the cleaning I had done the recent post above. Actually thought I did a great job with scrub brush, fabric cleaner, steamer, and vacuum cleaner. That is until I got my Dirt Devil extractor. My cleaning sucks. Lol. It did a fantastic job. Picture shows how dirty water is and this my second or third tank of cleaning.

My opinion on the Dirt Devil. Absolutely great!!!! You might want to look into bigger tanks and longer hose. I’m getting about 15 minutes worth of cleaning on one clean tank. The dirty tank is twice as big as the cleaning tank. This has a 4 foot hose. Maybe longer might could cause an issue but no complaints.
I did find spraying cleaning solution first and the going and vaccuum afterwards was better. Trying to spray and vacuum at same time did not do much for me. You can see when you finally start sucking up clean water and is rewarding. It is a slow process as you spray then vacuum. You can keep from over saturating down to the foam. I WAS really proud at how much I had the seats and panels cleaned in earlier pics until I used the Dirt Devil.

I bought a mini Bissell off of Amazon and did that to the seats I put in my Ranger build. It’s appalling and disgusting how much dirt was in the seats. It definitely is a satisfying job seeing the tanks only pulling clean water after a few once overs that’s for sure.

@Awesom-O I seen it on your thread, I looked at the Bissel and it looked bigger and I was thiking I might not want that big. Looking back now I would of gotten a Bissell instead just for the tank sizes. I have taken carpets to the carwash before and some of that stuff should be hazardous waste.
I can find information on 93 and newer. Not much on the 92 and older. This should be the last missing piece, the Dump Valve holder, the brown bracket. I need a Master Cylinder with Cruise Control Option. It has an electric connector in the tank.
It looks like rivets on the opposite side. I think you just about have to pull this assembly to get to the nuts. I’m really hoping mine is pre drilled for this bracket. Boneyard charged me a fortune for this whole assembly. Actually was a little shocked but hoping I will use it at a later time when I go with a 5.0 and automatic transmission. This truck is going to be pulling some trailers and the 2.9 not going do the job. It’s a year or so out.
I did not realize the truck in the yard had tilt. When I did I grabbed. I really did not know these trucks had tilt steering until I got the Bronco. No keys so I will have to work on that.
Truck still has difficulty idling at times. I was able to move plunger and give a good cleaning. Doesn’t always have issues. Still having issues every now and then.

I have a salvage yard 88 computer for an automatic transmission I installed it. I really can’t tell the difference with a computer for a manual or automatic. I do not see any bad capacitors.
Backside looks good.
Pins look good. It looks to be dielectric grease. Posted a picture of the socket as I could not see it even with glasses on. 5/32
Issue is continuing. Swapping computers did not change anything. I by chance had some mechanics day to use Motorcraft plugs. I got some platinum plugs and will give those a try. Runs great and times it idles great.

I have been getting after it. Just cleaning and refurbishing parts. This is off of the wreck brush guard. Lots of sandpaper getting the paint and rust off.
The kick panel is original color, I have Regeatta blue from factory. I used LMR paint for 88 Mustang. It ok but the trim I have in my hand is a SEM rattle can color I think I like better. It matches the metal a lot closer. The LMR just looks chalky. Gradually getting ready to do all trim when I get to the head liner.
I have the little mirrors. Been collecting the larger mirrors. All of the mirror assemblies were dented. I am working on getting the mounts black. I don’t think paint will stick well. I will use this truck to pull trailers and want them further out and are larger. Seats should be going in soon.

My NOS brush guards have been on my truck for a year, not many miles and most of the time it sits inside.
And the paint is flaking off everywhere. No wonder these things rusted out so bad lol.
