My 83 Project

I bought this truck from a lady for $200 who had put over $1000 into it between new parts and labor and she still couldnt get the truck to start. She told me she coudnt get spark.So I tested the spark and it had spark i found out the fuel pump was bad so i ordered one and am now waiting for it.Let me know if any one has parts for an 83 ranger longbed

as soon as i getsome money im going to buy fiberglass fenders and bedsides

do you mean the complete dashboard or just teh part around the gauges(yours is woodgrain)

Found out the fuel pump isnt getting power and since the wires are all crazy i dont know where it goes. Any suggestions?

Fuel pump relay?? Fuses? Sometimes the obvious gets overlooked...

you need to make a trip to a pick n pull

Get all your parts and you can trace that fuel pump wire to where it goes... or get a chiltons... they have wiring diagrams in there... and everyone hsould have a manual on there car

The inertia switch (fuel relay) is under the dash on the driver side.

thats a 2.8 no inertia switch .. manual fuel pump
