the lady i bought it from painted it. Yes it eletric fuel pump i would follow the wires but there cut n spliced. I plan on putting 32s on it but first im going to get it running

Haha oh and the second gas tank is missing. does anyone know how big they are? And should i keep just the one or go with a fuel cell?
It'll be fine with the one tank for now until you get everything you want done to it. Personally the extra fuel cell would be last on my list, first would be getting it running and driving.

Alright sounds good.. Does anyone know if the 83 has a inertia switch(fuel shut off switch) ? My truck is at my girlfriends house so i cant really check right now.

No, your ranger doesnt have the inertia switch...it isnt fuel injected.
