A 1995 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. Never was a "cop car"; was supposedly a State Trooper State Fair Patrol staff car. No spotlight or light bar ever graced this one. Complete with the full owner's manual set, that has the "Police Fleet" insert. 4.6 OHC V8. Fully electric inside goodies, but just an AM/FM stereo. Straight-across trade for the '89 Mustang GT I used to have; just traded last Friday. The neighbor's boyfriend wanted it, says he used to have a FoxBody in school and wanted another one to fix up. He'd had the CV for about 2 years, and only gave $1000 for it from a buddy who runs an auction.

This is the worst spot on the car...maybe about 1" in size.....

Not sure yet if I'll keep it or sell it. It is a nice ride......hmmmmmm......

I think you found your donor vehicle. I am just saying.

Yeah I know.....that thought crossed my mind. But.....no garage, no money for it, and not sure if my skill level is up to it, truthfully.

Sweet car. I'd rather have the Stang, but a PI Crown Vic ain't too shabby as a trade.

I'm the proud new owner of a 4.6 powered vehicle now as well. My Ranger is all but gone. :bawling:

Yeah, if it hadn't been a PI, I wouldn't have even considered the trade.

What makes these different than a civilian Crown Vic? I assume suspension and heavy duty this and that. Is the motor all that different?

.

Mine's a first-gen...a P72 they say.....thanks for the link!!

I would rather have the 'stang and for sure that Jeep...lol. That car is so old fuddy duddy retired old geezer automobile...lol

I had a 95 crown vic police interceptor a couple rides before my ranger. I loved riding around in that thing. There are two moments that stick out in my mind. The first being that while I was riding down a side street and coming up on a intersection, a lady had just pulled up to the stop sign, saw me, and scrambled for her seatbelt. Being a ex Delaware state police patrol car made it scream COP CAR!!! I have never seen somebody move that fast for their seatbelt. The second time I was traveling home from my sister's house in Blackwood, NJ and coming down Rt. 55 heading for Millville at 3 in the morning, I opened it up and was doing 130 mph in no time at all. The ride was butter smooth and didn't even seem like I was going that fast. The only way I could tell how fast I was going was that the broken white striped line between the two southbound lanes looked like one continuous line at that speed. That was fun. Just a disclaimer for those out there, do not do what I did. It was stupid. But it was a shitload of fun!!! Do not drive at those speeds.
