Multiple Fuses Blown - All At Once

I was checking on a blown fuse today, for my OD light. Sure enough, it was toast. I "Borrowed" the same size fuse from my hazard/flashers to test it. It fixed the problem, the OD light came on. I let the truck sit for quite a while, as I was not needing to drive it. When I get in later that night I noticed that not only the "borrowed" fuse that was in the OD slot blew, but so did the ones for all blinkers, brake lights, and back up lights.

Thoughts on why they would ALL OF THE SUDDEN all blow, at the same time?

Short in the column or behind the dash. Probably a bad combination switch, if you got airbag lights on possibly clock spring.
