I know this is a late answer, I can’t say much because mines carbed and I’m what you call barely mechanically adept. That being said, after I stopped focusing so much on the Tfi module and checking my wiring harness and vaccum lines everywhere else, I’ve had success with the engine running decently well. I also checked and replaced various sensors and ensured the egr system was running correctly. I was able to find success that way with my Ranger, of course the transmission had to crap out soon after but that’s another story. But yeah, that’s about all I can recommend with my experience.And it likes to fire the coil for no reason sometimes, the Green/yellow stripe ground wire for the coil has a weird pattern when I probe it to ground
