Hi guys , got a 2003 ford Ranger Fx4 lvl2. 5 speed standard , 4.0L. Anyways I got the motor out of the truck as I'm replacing it. Has high mileages , rear timing chain failed , and head gaskets leaking. I've been told that any 4.0 sohc motor will fit. I went to buy a 08 b4000 motor today with low mileage, however I noticed one of the big main harness connectors was different. Mine has a square connector with a bolt through it , the newer ones have two smaller connectors. What do I have to do to use / hook up a newer motor ?

I'm hoping to have a motor back in my truck before the week is out , but need help! Thanks all ! You can see the two comparisons in the following link .
